Centered on a series of testimonies, our College Age Ministry spent the fall term building an atmosphere of safety and sincerity. It is exciting to look ahead to next term as we continue on together within this environment of transparency, and bring ourselves "out of the crowd" to the feet of Jesus. We will be highlighting events from the gospels that display individuals who came from out of the crowd around Jesus, that they may humbly approach Him in faith. Those that were true Disciples of Christ among a crowd simply seeking signs and wonders. Is it truly Jesus we seek or do we pursue other methods of satisfaction in our lives? When Christ presented Himself as all that was needed "many of his disciples turned back and no longer followed him." John 6:66. We all have a choice to make in this life; to follow after the present pleasures of this temporary world, or seek out that which endures to eternal life. We can either turn away and leave with the crowd, or come out of the crowd and lay ourselves down at His feet.
College Group will resume on Monday, January 9th at 6:30 pm, here at Faith Center. This is a great fellowship opportunity for anyone out of high school through 26 yearning to live in authentic relationships with The Lord and with one another. Dinner will be served!
